Starting his career 15 years ago in New Zealand, Matt crossed the ditch to Australia and has spent the last nine years working at some of the best agencies in Melbourne. During his time in the industry, he’s helped reduce gambling addiction in Victoria, guilted kids into visiting their parents more often, made the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra play non-stop for 24 hours, hijacked a live broadcast of the most watched sporting event in history, helped invent a word about bad phone etiquette that made it into the dictionary, and gave footy fans the power to commentate LIVE games from Facebook.
Matt has also been invited to judge local and international award festivals including; The New York Festival, Midas Awards, AC&E Awards, and the New York AME Awards.  
His work has been recognised at every major festival around the world, most notably a Cannes Grand Prix for Effectiveness, 8 Cannes Lions, a Yellow Pencil at D&AD, and the Direct Grand Prix at Spikes Asia. He also had two campaigns in the 2014 WARC 100 Top Campaigns in the world. One day he hopes to win an award that his parents will be impressed by.
