About me.
After starting my career 20 years ago in New Zealand, I've spent the last 15 years working at some of the best agencies in Melbourne. The work that gets me most excited blurs the line between advertising and PR, hopefully making people in the real world (outside of the industry) be entertained and moved by the creativity.

During my time in the industry, I've helped reduce gambling addiction in Victoria, received a cease and desist letter from the U.S Government for a billboard, guilted kids into visiting their parents more often, made the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra play non-stop for 24 hours, hijacked the live broadcast of the most watched sporting event in history, made an un-safety video of how-not-to-drive in Japan using the All Blacks, broken a Guinness World Record, made a film 120 hours long, partnered a bank with Nike to create the first Player Exclusive shoe for a disabled athlete, spread mardi gras love to every Oxford St in Australia, invented a word about bad mobile phone etiquette that’s now in the dictionary, remotely executed a 17 fleet flotilla for the United Nations to escort Greta Thunberg into NY Harbour, united the AFL’s best bald footy players for a tyre safety message, broke up International band - The Veronicas, to help destigmatise female masturbation, used AI to prove words will always hold the power, and created a deforested edition of the classic, Winnie The Pooh.

Thanks to many other very smart people I've worked alongside, I've managed to accrue 350 awards and recognitions (yes, I'm a weirdo who keeps count) across every major international and local advertising festival, most notably a Cannes Grand Prix for Effectiveness, 11 Cannes Lions, a Yellow Pencil at D&AD,  4x Grand Prix at Spikes Asia, and Best of Show at the London Design Awards. He also had two campaigns in the WARC 100 Top Campaigns in the world.

I was also named in the Holmes Report Top 25 Innovators of Asia Pacific,
alongside my kiwi friend, NZ Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern.

I've also been invited to judge many local and international award festivals including; Spikes Asia, The New York Festival, Award Awards, BADC Awards, B&T Awards, CreativePool Awards, Midas Awards, AC&E Awards, and the New York AME Awards. He's also been involved in tutoring young advertising students as part of the Award School program here in Melbourne, and was on the Young Australian Direct Marketing Committee. He's currently the Chair of the Advertising Industry Advisory Board of RMIT for the Bachelor of Communications degrees.
