The Australian Volunteer Coast Guard rescue thousands of Aussies every year, but they do so out at sea, and out of sight. To raise awareness and funds for their cause, we needed to make their work relevant to people back on shore. We partnered with eBay to create Seabay, a unique auction site where people could bid on items recovered by Coast Guard Volunteers and equipment used on rescue missions.

Within two weeks of launch, we raised over $66,000 in funds, and more importantly, the Australian Volunteer Coast Guard received over 20 minutes of primetime media coverage.
